How many pairs of period pants fit in the bag?
Up to 7 pairs, enough for most people’s whole period in one wash. For a smaller load, our standard laundry bag holds up to 3 pairs.
Can I wash my WUKA period swimming costume in it?
Yes, the XL bag is big enough for a WUKA period swimming costume. Always follow the care label on your swimwear.
Can I wash reusable pads and other underwear in it too?
Yes. It’s made for anything delicate: period pants, reusable pads, bras and everyday underwear.
How should I wash and dry my period pants using the bag?
Rinse your period pants in cold water until the water runs clear, then pop them in the bag. Close the zip and tuck it under the cover, then wash with similar colours at 30–40°C without fabric conditioner. Air dry only. Don’t tumble dry.
Can I keep used pants in the bag until wash day?
Yes. Rinse them in cold water first and wring them out, then keep them in the bag until you’re ready to wash. The mesh lets air through, so they won’t sit damp.
Why does the zip have a cover?
It stops the zip catching on the rest of your laundry or on the drum, so the bag protects your other clothes too.
What size is the bag?
XL: approximately 50 cm long by 30 cm wide.
What’s the difference between the standard and XL bags?
Just the size. The standard bag holds up to 3 pairs of period pants, and the XL holds up to 7 pairs or a WUKA period swimming costume. Both use the same tough mesh and zip cover.
