TENCEL™ Modal is a cellulosic fibre - made from wood by Lenzing in Austria, not from petrochemicals. It's the fibre Ultimate™ is built on, and it's what you notice in the first ten seconds of wearing a pair.
Soft against skin on the days you least want to think about what you're wearing. And still soft after a hundred washes, which is the harder half.

Everything people ask before they buy their first pair: which flow to pick, how many you need, what they're made of, and how to look after them so they last.
Which flow level should I pick?
If you'd normally change a super tampon or a night pad every few hours, start with Super Heavy Flow. If it's a regular tampon or a day pad, Heavy Flow covers most days. Medium is for days four and five. Most people end up with two or three levels rather than one.
How many pairs do I actually need?
Three is the honest minimum for a full period without a mid-week wash — one on, one drying, one in the drawer. Five or more and you stop thinking about laundry altogether.
What is TENCEL™ Modal, and why does Ultimate™ use it?
It's a cellulosic fibre — made from wood pulp by Lenzing in Austria rather than from petrochemicals. We chose it for Ultimate™ because of softness that survives repeated washing and the way it regulates moisture against skin, which matters more in period pants than in most things you own. The full fibre composition of every pair is printed on its label.
How do I wash them?
Rinse cold until the water runs clear, then machine wash cold in a laundry bag and line dry. No fabric conditioner — it coats the fibres and stops them absorbing. No tumble dryer.
How does buy 2 get 1 free work?
Add any three pairs of Ultimate™ to your basket and the cheapest of the three comes off automatically at checkout. There's no code to enter. Add six and two come off — the rule applies to every full set of three. Mixing flow levels doesn't cost you anything, so there's no reason to buy three of the same. It runs until Monday 15 September, 9:30am, on Ultimate™ only, and doesn't stack with other offers.
What if the size is wrong?
Send them back and we'll swap them. Sizing is the thing people worry about most before their first pair, so we've made it the easy bit.
